A new post for Iker Perez

Iker Perez, one of our Transitional Assistant Professors leaves us at the end of June to join Oakbrook Finance as Senior Data Scientist.

Iker was part of the WayWard team – his working centred on mathematical research.  Focusing on probability and statistics, he produced research outputs centred on the study of stochastic jump processes and Bayesian methods.   In addition to being involved in machine learning communities such as NIPS and International Conference on Machine Learning, he was named as an “outstanding”reviewer by the ICML earlier this year.
