Linguistic evidence for effective public health messaging during the Covid-19 pandemic
This report presents the findings of the AHRC/UKRI-funded project ‘Coronavirus Discourses: linguistic evidence for effective public health messaging’ which ran from January 2021 to July 2022.
The project brought together a multidisciplinary team of linguists, computer scientists and experts in human factors research working in partnership with the UK Health Security Agency, Public Health Wales and NHS Education for Scotland to investigate the trajectories and impact of public health messages during the Covid-19 pandemic.
