Participants needed for a Research Study on July 24^th

at New Art Exchange

Duration: 2 hours | Compensation: £ 20 voucher + Theatre Tickets

RESEARCH STUDY: We are looking for 10-12 volunteers to take part in a focus group on Thursday 24^th July 2014 from 5.30pm to 7.30pm at the New Art Exchange, 39-41 Gregory Boulevard Nottingham NG7 6BE.

This study is part of the ‘Theatre Royal Nottingham 150th Anniversary: Heritage & Archive Project’, and aims to explore the public understanding of the archival materials. However for this focus group, we are looking for participants who are over 16 years old and who have never been or don’t go often to the theatre.

During the focus group, you will be invited to explore some materials from the Theatre Royal Archive of Nottingham (e.g. photos, posters, programmes, props). A group discussion will follow involving you, the other study participants, and the researchers from the University of Nottingham. Please note that the group discussion will be audio recorded, and the data collected will be used for research purposes only. Light refreshments will be provided during the focus group. Please let us know when registering if you have any special dietary requirement.

To participate, you need to be over 16 and have never or only rarely been to the theatre. Please contact us by July 21st by emailing to: Angels.Munoz@nottingham.ac.uk.  For your participation in the study, you will be compensated with a £ 20 High Street Voucher (the voucher can be used in Asda, Waitrose, Amazon, John Lewis, etc.) plus we’d like to offer you two complimentary tickets to see the classic comedy thriller The Ghost Train in the Theatre Royal Nottingham on Monday 28 July at 7.30pm.
