TAS RRI

Trustworthy Autonomous Systems – Responsible Research and Innovation

Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI) means doing research in a way that anticipates how they might affect people and the environment in the future, so that we can gain the most benefit and avoid harm. RRI is at the heart of the Trustworthy Autonomous Systems (TAS) research programme.

This project aims to support and promote RRI by assisting researchers in the TAS Hub and network with a range of responsible research practices. Artists can also play a pivotal role in RRI, acting as a bridge between research, policymakers and the public, and we will explore how artists implement or employ responsibility in and through their creative practice.

The TAS RRI project is led by Dr Alan Chamberlain & Prof Chris Greenhalgh, working with the universities of Oxford and Southampton.
