The Theatre Royal Nottingham teamed up with Horizon and the School of English at the University of Nottingham to bring insights into the Theatre’s 150-year history. From stage door dramas and ghosts in the old hotel, visitors experimented with new technologies to access different stories from the theatres historic collections and bring its past to life as well as highlight other locations in the city Centre.
“Horizon skilfully guided us through focus groups and piloting inventive digital schemes that enable people to access our archive in wholly original ways, such as the Wander Anywhere project. All this has shaped our own thinking about how we want to present our archive in a bold, innovate and non-traditional manner and certainly contributed to our recent success in being awarded funding from Heritage Lottery Funding to explore this work event further”
